Today was my ultrasound appointment. The doctor wanted to check the baby's weight, the amount of fluid surrounding the baby and to make sure the blood was flowing correctly through the umbilical cord (my high blood pressure could affect this.)
The results?? A perfect baby!! :-) Her weight is approximately 4lbs 1oz. (She's in the 71st percentile... which means she weighs a little more than most at this stage.) There is 16cm of fluid (which the tech said is good) and the blood is flowing perfectly. It was very cool to see that on the ultrasound machine. The tech also measured her femur and we got to see her kidneys and bladder. Everything is looking very good!
Here are the two pictures we got today. One is of her face and the other is her foot. I hope it's obvious which is which! ;-)
Isn't she the sweetest thing already?? I think she has my cheeks.. LOL. Lots of them to kiss!
